Dulcimer & Autoharp Home

Hammered Dulcimers, Mountain Dulcimers, & Autoharps

What we’re about:

QUADAS is a group of good folks who are interested in learning more about playing the hammered dulcimer, mountain dulcimer, and/or autoharp. Many of our members also enjoy branching out into related instruments – mandolin, fiddle, whistle, psaltery. We come in all different shapes and sizes and skill levels. We play an eclectic mix of Celtic, Mountain and traditional music. Some of us are just starting out on one of these instruments and others of us have been playing for years, but we all learn from one another. Quadas is built from and dependent on beginners, so if you are a beginner or just think you’d like to learn, come join us and we’ll help you get started with this wonderful pastime! We have starter instruments we can lend.

Where we playThe Zwingli United Church of Christ in Souderton has welcomed us to its community. QUADAS [kwah-dus] is easily accessible from Bucks County, Lehigh County, and Montgomery County in eastern Pennsylvania. We also have members from Reading, Villanova and the Main Line who make the trek to Souderton. You can find directions here.

When we play: We normally meet on the second and fourth Mondays of each month from 7:00 until 8:30PM

Next Meeting: March 25th, 2024. We will play from the following list of tunes.
